What you need to know about the course

The race starts and finishes at THE MITCHELL CANYON VISITOR CENTER and COVERS 12.4 MILES straight up to the summit of mount diablo by way of eagle peak & bald ridge trail, covering 4,000 feet in just over 6 miles. You will descend back down to mitchell canyon via a mix of fire roads and singletrack, before crossing the finish line back at mitchell canyon. The course is a loop with a quick spur on summit trail, a sick trail that’s worth the brief out& back to reach the mountain’s true summit.

the race’s single aid station is at the halfway point on the summit and will have food and drink mix, snacks, water, and ice. There will also be first aid and women’s specific health items available.

the mitchell canyon visitor center has limited parking for staff & vendors only so we are requiring mandatory off-site parking with a free 10 minute shuttle provided for all, both pre-race and post-race. shuttle information will be sent in detail the week of the race.
